Ramona Singer has “never been happy” since her time on “The Real Housewives of New York” came to an end.
The former reality TV star said in an interview on Thursday that Bravo’s decision to recast the “RHONY” series has given her more time to focus on herself.
I’ve put in a lot of effort my entire life, and I’m now close to 60. “I need to just enjoy myself now,” she told the tabloid. And putting on the spectacle is challenging. People genuinely think it’s straightforward. very stressful.
She even asserted that now that she “can manage [her] own narrative,” she is “happier” and “calmer.”
“I don’t miss it at all,” the 66-year-old singer remarked. It was an amazing experience, one that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
When the entrepreneur was dismissed from the show after starring on it for all 13 seasons, she made it plain that Bravo fans only saw an exaggerated version of her.
They didn’t tell me what to do, she explained; all I had to do was create drama. Was that really me there? No, actually. Or maybe I was high? Absolutely.”
When she exclusively revealed that she didn’t want to be a part of the Bravo programme “any longer,” the singer first made her desire to quit public.
She answered, “Right now, it’s not for me.” However, sources then claimed that the feeling was reciprocal because Bravo denied her the opportunity to make a comeback, which the reality star later verified.
She recalled that Bravo had chosen to dismiss everyone on its own. Simply turn us all away from it. The season 13 cast of “RHONY” included Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Leah McSweeney, and Eboni K. William.
The network disclosed its plans to reboot “RHONY” and recruit totally new performers after the show’s disastrous past season. At the same time, a new “Legacy” edition featuring previous “Housewives” was starting.
There were several fan favourites there, but Singer was ultimately fired from the cast after publicly rejecting the “Legacy” idea.
She said, “I also feel that the ‘Legacy’ [show], how could it be genuinely good?” on the “Reality with the King” podcast. Those who did not want to renew are the ones who will be brought back.
“So what follows?” Will it be called “The Loser Show” or “The Loser Legacy”?
The new “RHONY” cast includes Jenna Lyons, the former president of J. Crew, Sai De Silva, the creative director, Ubah Hassan, a model and philanthropist, Erin Dana Lichy, a home remodelling expert, and Brynn Whitfield, a brand marketing and communications professional.
Influencer Lizzy Savetsky was also cast, but she ultimately decided against participating before any filming could begin.
