On ABC’s well-liked medical drama, which debuted in 2005 and ran for 19 seasons, Ellen Pompeo portrayed Meredith. She has appeared in over 400 episodes over the years, and during that time, her character has undergone every conceivable change. Prior to becoming a surgical resident, Meredith Grey started her work as an intern. Afterward, she received promotions to attending surgeon and then head of surgery.

How did Meredith Grey depart?
As her tenure on the medical drama draws to an end, Meredith Grey makes the decision to leave Boston with her three kids. This show does contain some drama, though. Meredith had earlier confessed her feelings to Scott Speedman’s character, surgeon Nick Marsh, but he did not share them.

Meredith responded to his dismay by saying, “I want you in my life if you want to be in my life.” However, if I had to choose, I would choose what was best for my family, my offspring, and myself. I won’t beg you to adore me either. This was an iconic reference to Derek’s line, “Pick me,” in the song. Select me. I love you. This demonstrates how much her character has developed.
Later, Nick rushes to the airport to confess his emotions, but when he fears he won’t arrive in time, he makes the decision to call Meredith instead and do so.
The voiceovers for the series will still be done by Meredith, alias Ellen Pompeo. She is also expected to occasionally make guest appearances.
