Kate Middleton pays tribute to Queen by wearing her earrings

Prince William and Kate Princess of Wales visited Commonwealth soldiers in Surrey prior to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.

Kate wore the pearl and the diamond-stud earrings. She was the Princess of Wales also wore the identical jewels of Queen Elizabeth in Sandringham to pay tribute to flowers. The Princess of Wales had on the long Catherine Walker coat and a Lock & Co. hat.

Lauren Kiehna of The Court Jeweller told The Court Jeweller that it was the queen who wore these earrings back in 1977. The Queen gave Kate Middleton the outfit for her solo trip in 2016 in the Netherlands.

 

Queen Elizabeth II’s 70-year reign came to an end on the 8th of September. 96-year-old

William as well as Kate’s title were changed when Charles’s son became title of Prince of Wales title. Kate Middleton will take up the title of Princess Diana.
