By Princess Diana’s close friend, who is “still upset” over Diana’s tragic death in a vehicle accident.
Julia Samuel, a longtime friend of Princess Diana’s and a godmother to Diana’s grandchild Prince George, made a rare statement lately regarding her friendship with the late people’s princess and her role as a godmother to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s oldest son.
Speaking to The Observer, Julia spoke about the death of her best friend, who died in a 1997 automobile accident in Paris. –
“I was incensed. I was surprised and upset that she had died, and I had no idea what was going on. I mean, I’ve gotten a better grasp on it. Those who knew and loved her felt that way, and I can see why. Julia added, “However, I’m still a little down today.”
Julia also spoke about being a “wonderful” way to honour her connection with the late Diana by watching after Prince George as he grows up.
“Well, I’m glad I was able to spend so much time with Princess Diana.” And George, my godson, is one of my favourite people in the world. “It’s a wonderful way to show your affection for her,” Julia added.
One of Prince William’s charities, Child Bereavement UK, was founded by Julia and she is a grief therapist as well.
