Rashmika Mandanna got bad reviews because she didn’t watch Kantara.

Rashmika told the press in November that she hadn’t had time to watch Rishab Shetty’s Kantara. But some people went after her, saying that she had forgotten where she was from. Rishab was in charge of making her first movie, Kirik Party.

In a new interview with the Bollywood press, Sudeep said, “It is what it is.” How can you make a difference? If you go back 15 to 20 years, we were being interviewed by news stations, which was pretty new at the time. But, in the days of Dr. Rajkumar sir, there was only Doordarshan and newspapers.”

He also said, “So, how can you say that they were better before media, when all of a sudden there is media?” It’s not true that everything is going wrong because of the news. We need to learn how to deal with it. As always, we should move on. And once you’re famous, there will always be garlands and eggs, tomatoes, and stones thrown at you.

Rashmika hasn’t directly answered the criticism, but she did post a long note on Instagram soon after the chaos about how to handle negative comments. “A few things have been bothering me for the past few days, weeks, months, or maybe even years, and I think it’s time to talk about them.” I’m just talking about myself, which is something I should have done a long time ago. Since I started working, I’ve been on the receiving end of a lot of hate. “A punching bag for a lot of trolls and negative people out there,” she wrote.
