Jensen Ackles will play Batman in the Legion of Super-Heroes, which is being made by DC.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Jensen Ackles will be the voice of Batman in the upcoming DC series Legion of Super-Heroes.

In the animated movie, Meg Donnelly will be Kara/Supergirl, and Harry Shum Jr. will be Brainaic 5. The cast also includes Darren Criss as Superman and Matt Bomer as The Flash.

The plot of the story will follow Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes into the 3000s.

THR says that the story starts with Kara trying to get used to her new life on Earth after the loss of Krypton broke her heart. She is taught by her cousin Superman, who tells her to go to the Legion Academy in the 31st century and meet new people, including Braniac 5. She must also fight off the Dark Circle, a mysterious group that is looking for a powerful weapon in the academy’s vault.

Sam Register is the project’s executive producer. Butch Lukic, Jim Krieg, Kimberly S. Moreau, and Butch Lukic are also producers, and Butch Lukic is in charge. Jeff Wamester is running the project, and Josie Campbell wrote the script.

Otto Binder and Al Plastino started the Legion of Super-Heroes in 1958, so it has been around for a while. Since then, the team hasn’t gotten much attention, but they have been in some important stories, like Superman and Justice League from the DC Animated Universe.

The new animated movie will come out early in 2019 from Warner Bros. Animation, DC, and Warner Bros.
