Lee Ji Han, a contestant on Produce 101 season 2, which produced the boy band X1, died on October 30 in a mob surge in Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea. 935 Entertainment and 935 announced it on social media.

The actor was only 24 years of age and had begun acting as one following placing 98th in the survival competition for which he initially auditioned with EXO’s Overdose and was eliminated in the fifth episode.
